Part-loads everywhere
Each mill ships when it suits their rolling programme. You end up paying full-truck rates for half-full trailers.
Commissioning & consolidation warehouse · Bulgaria
Part-loads from many mills arrive at one Bulgarian hub. One consolidated truck leaves for your line — checked, documented and sequenced for unloading.
The problem
Each mill ships when it suits their rolling programme. You end up paying full-truck rates for half-full trailers.
Transport, handling and demurrage stack up across [number of suppliers] suppliers and [number of borders] borders — and nobody owns the total.
Six trucks from six origins rarely arrive in the order your production line needs them. Buffer stock hides the problem and ties up cash.
The consolidation flow
01 · Receiving
Deliveries from multiple mills and stockists are booked to gate slots, unloaded and logged on arrival. [Same-day unloading to be confirmed.]
02 · Inspection
Quantities, surface condition and mill test certificates are checked against the order. Paperwork travels with the stock from this point on. [Inspection scope to be confirmed.]
03 · Storage
Stock rests under cover with bay-level location control, traceable from arrival to dispatch. [Storage area and capacity to be confirmed.]
04 · Consolidation
Orders are picked across inbound deliveries and built into full trucks — one vehicle, one delivery note, one arrival at your gate.
05 · Loading
Loads are strapped, dunnaged and stacked in reverse order of unloading, with papers prepared before the truck reaches the bay.
06 · Dispatch
Customs and delivery documents are handled at the hub, so the truck crosses borders without surprises. [Customs and bonded status to be confirmed.]
Many suppliers in. One delivery out.
